Strong Design was asked to design a frame that would allow for the safe and efficient handling of large rolls of Aluminium and fibreglass sheet. Able to be moved by forklift or gantry crane the frame needed to be easy and safe to load, move and store. Strong Design designed the basic concept, generated images and basic sizing drawings for the client to approve.

Once approved we used stress and deflection manual calculations to determine the sizing and material of critical components, this was supported by FEA modelling. The frame was then detailed in workshop drawings for quoting and international manufacture. The project was completed on time and to budget.
