Strong Design was commissioned to provide a diecast unit-tool bolster design that would enable the client to:

• run 2 tools simultaneously.
• fit into a new Frech high pressure diecast machine.
• quick change dies in 4 minutes.
• run at least 3 unit tool sizes in the one bolster.
• calculate sprue pin and bush design.
• quick release pneumatic ejection plate locking.
• free-weight tool loading and unloading.

We completed are 3D CAD modelling, 2d detailed drawing, sourced the toolmaker and project managed the bolster build to a successful conclusion.
