This was an unusual project in that Strong Design was asked to complete a tool design and manufacture for a new product to be placed in an existing tool. Taking the original tooling design and new product CAD files Strong Design, re-designed the tool by replacing sliding core face plates, replacing ejection method and both fixed and moving half inserts. Designed and machined in-house at Strong Design.

Due to the changes required for the new product and total tool height the hot running system also had to be re-positioned. Project complete on time and much under the cost of a new tool.
